Journeys Through Space & Time: Black Migration in Afrofuturism

Want to discover the experiences and exciting eclecticism of the African diaspora in art? Paddison Memorial Branch staff will discuss the history and show examples of the exciting aesthetics found in the artistic and cultural movement known as Afrofuturism.

Afrofuturism is an artistic movement and cultural aesthetic that explores the experiences of the African diaspora and its intersection with science and technology, incorporating elements of science fiction, fantasy, magical realism, and other speculative styles.
