Walk4Hearing at Tanglewood Park

“The Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA) will host the North Carolina Walk4Hearing at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC, on Saturday, October 12, 2013 with check-in/registration at 8 a.m. and the 5K (3.1 miles) Walk beginning at 9 a.m.

There will be pre-Walk refreshments, snacks and family-friendly entertainment. The North Carolina Walk4Hearing is one of 22 events happening across the nation this year.

The abovementioned event and organization are not affiliated with Forsyth County in any way. It is a separate and independent organization, which is responsible for and manages its own activities and affairs. This event is a contractual agreement between the organization and Forsyth County.


General Park Information

  • Pets must be under control of their owner and kept on a leash no longer than six feet at all times. All pets must have current inoculations for rabies. Pets must be kept and never left unattended. Pet owners are responsible for their pets using the designated waste area and cleaning up after their pets at the designated area.
  • Golf, Horse Stables, Hiking Trails and Accommodations are available year-around.
  • Gardens are open year-around. Blooming seasons vary.
  • Tennis activities are available from April to November.
  • Water activities can be enjoyed from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
  • Entrance Fee:
    • $8.00 - Passenger Vans and Buses
    • $2.00 - All other vehicles
    Annual passes can be purchased at the Welcome Center for $50.00 for passenger vans and buses and $25.00 for all other vehicles. Entrance fees and annual passes do not include admission to special events.
