Candid conversations about college and career readiness Sunday, Oct. 9

Come to the Central Library Auditorium for a presentation by three education professionals ready to help your family prepare for the transition to higher education.

  • Andrea Horton, MBA is the chief marketing officer for the Thurgood Marshall College Fund.
  • Nathaniel French, Ph.D. directs the Magnolia Scholars Program at Wake Forest University and is the CEO of The Right Choice Academic Advising.
  • C. Todd Hairston, Ph.D. is an eligibility consultant for the NCAA.

The panel will offer strategies for your best efforts to get into the school of your choice, how to succeed as a student athlete, and offer resources for pursuing your career once you are in college. Library staff will share resources that you can use right now to begin your college research and preparation.
